Refund policy

Standard Refund Option for Stock Pieces- Refund minus Restocking fee

All orders (except final sale and custom orders) have a 3 day return policy from day of receiving. Day 1 is day delivered and must be in the hands of the courier by day 3 at the latest to be eligible for a refund, no exceptions. Buyer must use tracked shipping and must pay for return costs. All items must be returned in its original state without any alteration* and with any/all accessories included. Returns are also obligated to pay a 10% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund as well as the original shipping fee. A refund will be issued once the item has been received and deemed eligible for a return. Orders placed through Afterpay are final sale & non refundable. Buyer must contact The ALT Shop before making a return.

 

Alternate Refund Option for Stock and Custom Orders- Full Refund once Sold 

All orders have a 3 day return policy from day of receiving. Day 1 is day delivered and must be in the hands of the courier by day 3 at the latest to be eligible for a refund, no exceptions. Buyer must use tracked shipping and must pay for return costs. All items must be returned in its original state without any alteration* and with any/all accessories included. After a return is inspected and approved, the buyer can agree to have the item resold on The ALT Shop website to receive a full refund without a restocking fee. The item will be listed for a maximum of 30 days from the original listing date. If the item is not sold within those 30 days, the item will be returned to the original buyer and is no longer eligible for a refund. If the item sells within those 30 days, a full refund (minus the original shipping costs) will be issued. The buyer must wait until the item is sold to receive a full refund (proof of sale will be provided). Buyer must contact The ALT Shop before making a return.

*Alterations include the following:

  • Lace has been cut
  • Has been worn other than just to try on
  • Item has been washed and/or product has been applied
  • Item has been restyled/ parting was changed or moved
  • Hair has been cut and/or coloured 
  • Cap has been altered (resized, removed ear tabs, removed clips/combs)
